Natural Light at Solace House

Solace House is filled with beautiful natural light throughout the day. The brightest light is typically available from early morning through late afternoon, while evening sessions offer a softer, more diffused glow.

Because natural light varies by season, weather, and daylight saving time, we encourage guests to consider sunrise and sunset times when planning their reservation. Photographers are welcome to bring any on-camera or off-camera lighting needed to complement available natural light. We offer one continuous, portable, light with a softbox.

A Friendly Reminder

Your reservation time begins at entry and ends when the studio has been fully restored and vacated. Please book enough time to set up, photograph, clean up, return furniture and props to their original locations, and gather your belongings before departure.

To help us provide a seamless experience for all guests, a fee of $10 will be charged for each additional 5-minute increment spent in the studio outside of your reserved rental period. If you anticipate needing additional time, please contact us as soon as possible. If availability permits, we'll do our best to accommodate an extension.

The images throughout our website showcase the actual spaces, furnishings, and seasonal installations available at Solace House. While décor and seasonal installations may evolve throughout the year, our thoughtfully curated collection of furniture, props, rolling walls, and backdrops are available for guests to enjoy during their reservation unless otherwise noted.
