Solace House is available for reservations seven days a week, beginning at 7:00 AM and continuing through sundown.
As a natural-light studio, our hours adjust seasonally to make the most of available daylight. Current availability can always be viewed on the booking calendar when making a reservation.

Studio hours are available from 7:00 AM to sundown, with natural light conditions varying by season.
Featuring north- and east-facing windows, the studio is filled with soft, flattering daylight throughout the day. Morning through late afternoon offers the brightest natural light, while evening sessions are characterized by a more diffused, even glow—perfect for capturing timeless, light-filled imagery.

Each private studio reservation includes access to our thoughtfully curated collection of furniture and styling pieces, fixed backdrop installations, and a continuous light. To provide even greater creative flexibility, guests may also utilize our rolling walls and seamless paper backdrop options. (Please note that seamless paper backdrops are available for an additional fee.)
To ensure a comfortable and effortless experience, complimentary Wi-Fi, chilled waters, and a portable Bluetooth speaker are available for use throughout your booking.

When you reserve time at The Solace House, that time is set aside specifically for your session. Because availability is limited, all bookings are final and non-refundable.
If your plans change, you may request to reschedule your reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time. Approved reschedules are subject to availability, may only be made once, and must be used within 60 days of the original booking date.
Reservations canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund, credit, or future transfer. This includes circumstances such as illness, weather, travel delays, client cancellations, scheduling conflicts, or missed appointments.
We understand that unexpected situations arise, and we appreciate your understanding of this policy. Maintaining a consistent cancellation policy allows us to preserve availability and provide the best possible experience for all guests.
Multi-hour reservations must be used during a single booking and cannot be divided across multiple dates or sessions.

Guests may enter the studio up to 5 minutes before their scheduled reservation time, provided the space is not occupied by a prior booking. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy and rental time of other guests and wait outside the studio until it becomes available.
To help us provide a seamless experience for all of our guests, we ask that sessions begin and end on time. Please begin wrapping up your session at least 5 minutes before your reservation ends, and ensure the studio is fully vacated within 5 minutes of your scheduled end time.
Before departing, all furniture, props, and equipment should be returned to their original locations, and the studio should be left clean and in the same condition in which it was found.
To keep the schedule running smoothly for everyone, a fee of $10 will be charged for each additional 5-minute increment spent in the studio outside of your reserved rental period, including unauthorized early entry or late departure. Additional fees may also apply for excessive cleaning, damages, or failure to restore the space as provided.

Solace House is designed to support a wide variety of creative and professional sessions, including family, maternity, newborn, branding, headshots, engagements, portraits, lifestyle, product photography, content creation, and tasteful boudoir photography.
To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests and neighboring businesses, the studio is not suitable for nude or explicit photography. As Solace House is located within a shared commercial setting, we ask that all guests remain appropriately covered while entering, exiting, and utilizing the space.
Our goal is to provide a welcoming and inspiring environment for every guest. If you have questions about your session or would like to discuss a specific concept, we'd be happy to help prior to booking.

Complimentary, and ample parking, is available along the street directly in front of the building, as well as in the parking lot located behind the studio.
Please do not park in the bank parking lot across the street, as those spaces are reserved for bank customers and unauthorized vehicles may be subject to towing.
A detailed arrival and studio walkthrough guide, including parking instructions, building access information, and other helpful details, will be provided upon booking to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.

Yes, pets are welcome at Solace House with prior approval and the applicable pet fee.
To help us maintain the studio for all guests, pets are not permitted on furniture or upholstered pieces. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all pet hair, waste, and related messes are thoroughly cleaned before the end of their reservation. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the space requires extra attention after your booking.

Absolutely! Cake smash sessions are welcome at Solace House. A cake smash fee is required and must be added to your reservation at the time of booking.
To keep the studio in excellent condition for all guests, specific cleanup instructions will be provided prior to your session. Guests are responsible for completing the required cleanup before the end of their reservation. Additional cleaning fees may be assessed if the space is not restored according to the provided guidelines.

Studio reservations are available up to four months in advance. Additional dates are released on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Our seasonal installations are thoughtfully designed and styled to create a cohesive experience for all guests. For this reason, seasonal sets and the furnishings incorporated within them must remain as styled and may not be moved, rearranged, or altered during your reservation.
We invite guests to enjoy and photograph these spaces as designed while utilizing the studio’s movable furniture and props throughout the remainder of the space.

The current occupant amount is 12 people, including the photographer/creator.

To help us maintain a clean and beautiful space for all guests, food and beverages are not permitted in the studio during standard rentals. Water is welcome.
Exceptions may be made for pre-approved events, styled shoots, or specialty sessions where food or beverages are an intentional part of the reservation. Prior approval must be obtained before bringing any food or drinks into the space, including cake smashes. Fees may apply.
Additional cleaning or damage fees may apply if this policy is not followed.

Your reservation is designed to be a private and relaxed experience. In most cases, you and your guests will have the studio entirely to yourselves throughout your booking.
From time to time, we may reach out to see if you’d be comfortable with a brief visit to capture behind-the-scenes content for Solace House. Participation is completely optional and would only take place with your advance approval.
For the safety and security of all guests, security cameras are active throughout the studio at all times. These cameras are used solely to help protect the space and ensure a positive experience for everyone who visits.
